National Apprenticeship Week – Frankie Jones
This week is National Apprenticeship Week (10th – 14th February) and we would like to shine a light on the apprentices we have working with us at Agri Advisor. Our apprentices are working towards completing various qualifications while also working within our Firm.
Next up is Frankie Jones, who is working towards a Level 7 Solicitors Apprenticeship.
‘I started the Solicitor Apprenticeship in September 2023, after working as an Administration Assistant with Agri Advisor for a year previously. I thoroughly enjoyed working within the firm and so it made sense for me to continue working alongside studying.
Being an apprentice is a fast-paced and exciting route to qualification and has given me the opportunity to meet others in the legal profession, as well as gain practical experience. The apprenticeship allows me to relate my studies to real life cases and see how the law applies in practice.
It also means I get to work closely with experienced solicitors who are always willing to offer support and guidance. When I qualify as a solicitor, I will already have over 6 years’ worth of experience working within the legal profession, and particularly the specialist area of agricultural law.
For that reason, I believe the apprenticeship programme is an invaluable route way to a career in law and one that cannot be competed with by the traditional route.
Apprenticeship Week highlights the work being done across the whole apprenticeship community to promote apprenticeships and the positive impact they are having throughout Wales. If you are interested in our Apprenticeship programme and would like more information, please get in touch.
