National Apprenticeships Week – Kelsie Flavell

  • Posted

This week is National Apprenticeship Week (10th – 14th February) and we would like to shine a light on the apprentices we have working with us at Agri Advisor. Our apprentices are working towards completing various qualifications while also working within our Firm.

First is Kelsie Flavell who is working towards completing a Level 3 CILEX Paralegal Apprenticeship.

‘Since starting my apprenticeship in October 2024 I have found that working in the legal environment whilst studying to become a Paralegal has been a great opportunity.

I have been able to gain practical and hands-on experience in the legal profession with the benefit of working alongside experienced Solicitors who are more than happy to assist me when needed, which has been much appreciated. I’ve had the chance to draft documents, conduct legal research and assist solicitors at meetings, which has helped me to better understand legal procedures and has grown my confidence as I develop my legal knowledge and skills.

Working in the legal environment whilst studying has allowed me to improve a number of essential skills such as time management, communication and organisation which are crucial in the legal profession. I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn in a hands-on and real-world setting. I would highly recommend starting an apprenticeship to any individual who is interested in progressing their career in law.’

Apprenticeship Week highlights the work being done across the whole apprenticeship community to promote apprenticeships and the positive impact they are having throughout Wales.
