Karen Anthony

Karen joined Agri Advisor in 2016. Previously Karen worked within the civil service whilst studying for her Masters degree in York before completing her legal training through the University of Glamorgan. Having left the civil service, Karen was appointed Director of Policy for CLA Wales. She spent a successful four-year term at CLA Wales representing membership views on a wide range of agricultural and associated topics. Since joining Agri Advisor she has qualified as a Solicitor and now heads our Hereford Office.

Karen was born into a farming family in West Wales. She met her future husband through the Young Farmers movement. Her marriage saw her becoming the wife of a dairy farmer but subsequent changes in farming policy saw the couple diversify into rearing pedigree native breed suckler cows and growing arable crops. The subsequent sale of the farm prompted the couple to leave day to day farming and Karen is pleased that she can now service the legal needs of her local rural community since the opening of our Hereford Office. Karen is a fluent Welsh speaker.
